  • I was asked to make some copper rings back in 2018 for a couple of people who believed that the copper alleviated their arthritis. Since then I've made lots for this purpose, usually selling them at fairs, but am now adding them to my website

These rings all vary, and are pure copper, with silver accents.

If they have silver on the outside of the main band, that silver is fused to the copper. I use small offcuts of fine and sterling wire and the dust that results from sawing, drilling and filing my jewellery.

The outer rings are made with solid sterling that has been recycled by my bullion dealer

This particular ring, is a UK size P, USA size 7.75 and Europe 57
It's got a leaf textured inner copper ring that has fine silver fused to it  with 3 sterling satellite rings - 2 beaten and 1 smooth.

    Weight 7g
    Internal diameter 17.9mm
    Flare 2.2mm

All the silver I use is certified eco silver - recycled and reclaimed by my bullion dealer, or made using my own scrap. In the case of a spinner ring, all the silver elements are recycled - the satellite rings are made from sterling wire I buy already recycled and the silver fused to the copper is fine and sterling silver dust I've fused to the copper. I save all the silver sawdust created when I'm filing and sawing the rest of my jewellery for these.

I make the main band, texturing before forming it, if rolling it through my mill or stamping. I apply any beaten textureafter forming the band. I then make the satellite rings, ensuring that their fit, like Goldilocks, is just right.

Because these bands are a little wider than usual, most people need to go up a half size or two when selecting one to wear, for ultimate comfort. If you wish to try one and need to return it because it doesn't fit, then I'll happily accept a return, as long as it's within a fortnight. Please see my return policy regarding this.

If you would like a ring sizer, you can order one in my other listings, at cost.

I'll refund you if you then place an order for a ring from me

Size P Spinner Ring - copper and silver

    • Sterling Silver will eventually oxidise or tarnish. It's a natural process that can be slowed down by regular wear and by keeping unworn items away from the atmosphere. If you leave your jewellery out on display, this oxidisation will be faster.  You can polish up your items, with a soft cloth, some silver polish, or a buffing cloth such as Town Talk, which is readily available from any high street jewellers in the UK

Fine silver is 99.9% silver, and because of this the tarnish rate is much, much slower. Again, a buff should do the job for polishing it back up. If I have patinated your silver already, be gentle when buffing!

Each piece should stand up to regular wear, but , as with all jewellery, please remove it before washing, using chemicals or applying perfume etc

Apply body lotion and perfume a few minutes before putting on your jewellery to help slow down tarnish

The sterling silver used in these items was sold to me by my bullion dealer ass certified recycled.

he gemstones I use have been sold to me by reputable dealers as untreated (unless stated specifically in the listing). They are a natural, organic creation from the earth and each one will be slightly different. You can see examples of this on my Facebook page.
I select the stones that I think go together best for each project, hence my comments that each item is individual.
