Designed as a collaboration with Kosy Kitchen Fibres and with flexibility in mind, this can be made using one 100g skein (175m) of superwash aran merino, and a 5mm hook.
Of course, you could use multiple strands of a lighter weight yarn, and a 5mm hook, or adapt the pattern if using a single strand of a thinner yarn. It's a very simple pattern, using simple stitch combinations of doubles, singles, chains and a basic picot edging along the wrist.
You are very welcome to sell anything you make using this pattern, but the pattern remains copyright of DawnGillDesigns and may not be sold or given away.
The pattern can be downloaded here from my site, or bought as part of a kit from Kosy Kitchen Fibres
If purchasing a kit you will find it includes a skein of Fiona’s gorgeous hand painted yarn, a 5mm hook, and one of my handmade, unique and themed stitch-keepers, along with a unique code to use at checkout with me to enable you to download the pattern files at no additional cost (enter it in the promo code box)
* as usual I've saved the pattern as a full document and a 2 page document without the photos, to save on ink and paper if you prefer to have a hard copy to work from.

The sterling I use is supplied by a UK manufacturer as fully recycled with a minimum fineness of 92.5% silver; the remaining element of the alloy being copper.
Copper items are 100% copper
Within my making process I use food grade citric acid, vegan polishes, Liver of Sulphur, food grade Sodium Bicarbonate, Renaissance Wax finally cleaning each item with tap water and ‘Simple’ branded face soap.
Each piece I make will stand up to regular wear, but, as with all jewellery, please keep it away from children, don’t eat it, remove it before washing, using chemicals, applying perfume etc.
Apply body lotion and perfume a few minutes before putting on your jewellery to help slow down tarnish.
The gemstones I use have been sold to me by reputable UK dealers as untreated (unless stated specifically in the listing). They are a natural, organic creation from the earth and each one will be slightly different.
It's law in the UK, that precious metals for sale, heavier than 7.78grams (silver) / 1gram (gold) must be formally assayed (ie tested, verified & hallmarked)
