This chain is fully handmade, using lengths of 1mm sterling wire, that I ball the ends of, then coil into mini infinity loops, before joining them with more handmade sterling jumprings (also in 1mm wire)
It's lots of fun, and the chain is very comfortable to wear - a decent weight but also smooth and flows well.
The 7inch fits a wrist of 6.5inches (18 cm fitting 16.5cm) at the longest adjustment, but each bracelet or necklace will come with a hook or S clasp, depending on your preference, that will fit into a number of the links, allowing for some adjustability. I've priced up standard options.
This exact bracelet is available for postage; it has a fully hallmarked hook clasp and every component has been handmade by me. It fits wrists of 15 cm / 6 inches up to 16.5cm or 6.5 inches.

Future chains will be made to order I will be sending off 1mm wire and clasps (plus of course solder) with my next batch for assay so that I have enough in hand to make your. Please allow me up to 3 weeks for me to make and dispatch your bracelet
As with all my fully hand crafted pieces, I use certified recycled sterling silver, and although future chains will be made to the same method, there will be slight variances.

Small tends to be about 6-6.5 inches (15-16.5cm), medium 6.5-7.5 inches (16.5-19cm), large 7.5-8.5 inches (19-21.5cm).All my silver is now bought as certified recycled eco-silver, made from 100% scrap / recycled silver which has been fully refined to ensure it is of the same quality as traditional sterling, but of course without the environmental impact of mining it.
Barbell handmade chain - hallmarked and made to order
Sterling Silver will eventually oxidise or tarnish. It's a natural process that can be slowed down by regular wear and by keeping unworn items away from the atmosphere. If you leave your jewellery out on display, this oxidisation will be faster. You can polish up your items, with a soft cloth, some silver polish, or a buffing cloth such as Town Talk, which is readily available from any high street jewellers in the UK
Fine silver is 99.9% silver, and because of this the tarnish rate is much, much slower. Again, a buff should do the job for polishing it back up. If I have patinated your silver already, be gentle when buffing!
Each piece should stand up to regular wear, but , as with all jewellery, please remove it before washing, using chemicals or applying perfume etc
Apply body lotion and perfume a few minutes before putting on your jewellery to help slow down tarnish
The sterling silver used in these items was sold to me by my bullion dealer as certified recycled.
The gemstones I use have been sold to me by reputable dealers as untreated (unless stated specifically in the listing). They are a natural, organic creation from the earth and each one will be slightly different. You can see examples of this on my Facebook page.
