  • I love a commission, and recently was asked to make a stone set stacking ring, This was the prototype that I and my customer fell in love with. I made a few of them and took them to my Christmas 2020 fairs.

They've been popular with everyone, so here they are.

I can make these to order in your size and with your gemstone of preference. They are below 7.78g in weight so there is no requirement for them to go for Assay

There may be a slight surcharge if you opt for a more costly stone.

Named for Budleigh, our local beach of choice, you can order them in a variety of finishes - for the pebble or the shank lightly beaten for added sparkle or smooth satin or highly polished pebble, textured shank or not and with a variety of gems. All these gems are 3mm in diameter

At the moment I have just a few available for instant dispatch.

The bands are made from certified eco silver 2mm wire - sold and recycled by my bullion dealer; the balls are made by me from the offcuts of silver left over from making earwires etc. Every ring will be unique because the ball will be silghtly different, and the positioning of the gem will be too.

Remember - this shank is only 2mm wide, so you want to err on the side of snug, rather than loose. If you have a special stone you want, and it's not listed - message me - I might not have it, but I can see if I can order it for you.

The rings available for instant dispatch are listed as their stone and ring size in this listing and others

3mm golden citrine, lightly beaten band - size  P

3mm mid green sapphire, beaten band - size M

3mm deep amethyst, beaten pebble, textured band - size P

3mm smoky quartz,  beaten pebble - size P

3mm green tsavorite nibbled band satin finish - size Q 1/2

If you would like a ring sizer, you can order one in my other listings, at cost. I'll refund you if you then place an order for a ring from me

Each of these rings is sold individually, despite the photos showing them clustered

You can order bespoke rings, with different stones - please contact me to tell me the stone / colour and size you would like, and I'll be able to advise if I have the stone in hand, or if I'll need to order it. Most stones vary in price depending on size, and also onthe actual stone. Rubies and emeralds are usually more costly than  garnet and peridot, for example.

    • Sterling Silver will eventually oxidise or tarnish. It's a natural process that can be slowed down by regular wear and by keeping unworn items away from the atmosphere. If you leave your jewellery out on display, this oxidisation will be faster.  You can polish up your items, with a soft cloth, some silver polish, or a buffing cloth such as Town Talk, which is readily available from any high street jewellers in the UK

Fine silver is 99.9% silver, and because of this the tarnish rate is much, much slower. Again, a buff should do the job for polishing it back up. If I have patinated your silver already, be gentle when buffing!

Each piece should stand up to regular wear, but , as with all jewellery, please remove it before washing, using chemicals or applying perfume etc

Apply body lotion and perfume a few minutes before putting on your jewellery to help slow down tarnish

The sterling silver used in these items was sold to me by my bullion dealer ass certified recycled.

he gemstones I use have been sold to me by reputable dealers as untreated (unless stated specifically in the listing). They are a natural, organic creation from the earth and each one will be slightly different. You can see examples of this on my Facebook page.
I select the stones that I think go together best for each project, hence my comments that each item is individual.
