This listing is for an individually, handcrafted, solid sterling silver, fully adjustable #HookerRing to reduce cramp and aid by regulating tension from the yarn ball to the work.
(See my other listings for other variants and to order a custom stamped one with a word of your choice ) - this style #HookerRing yarn loop is approximately 4.5mm in diameter, working well for yarn up to chunky. If you want to double up, or use thicker, I recommend my chunky style #HookerRing
Photographed with a 'regular' #HookerRing as sold in my other listings, and with both a single strand of BFL ultra chunky and then that strand doubled up (yarn from www.KosyKitchenFibres.com). As you can see one of the 'regular' #HookerRings will accommodate yarn suitable for 7-9mm hooks, but occasionally people have asked me for larger loops.
Remember that each will be slightly different as I make them individually. You will be able to adjust the sizing yourself, or of course, you can tell me the size you want yours to be, and I'll adjust it for you before I dispatch it (you'll still be able to tweak it)
You can order to suit your finger so
Small = adjustable up to to a K, set at about UK D (USA 2)
Standard = adjustable from UK D to Q, set at about UK G (USA 3.75)
Large = Adjustable up to Z+1, set at about UK R (USA 8.75)
Extra Large are available and also adjustable, but I make these to order.
If you don't specify the size, I'll enclose a standard, and if you need to either have it adjusted, or exchange for a different size, then just message me and we'll arrange it.
As with all my single loop #HookerRings, these are available in all my stampings, which currently are: Dot, Angel Wings, Leaf, Star, Heart, Pawprint, Flower, Snowflake, Butterfly, Bee or for for a small surcharge, select the custom combination, which can include text up to 13 letters.

I've found that wearing one on my middle finger, saves me having to tangle my little finger and stops the cramp I was getting with my crochet.

Everything is made using sterling silver. Many pieces are unique and one of a kind items, some are ranges.
Bullion (ie raw precious metal) is expensive and increases in price regularly.
I've decided that rather than increase the price of all my old stock to reflect this, I will just update the new pieces to reflect the cost of the metal when I bought it. This is why you will find some spinner rings, for example at different price points.
All my hooker rings are adjustable, so unlike with a regular ring, you don't need to measure precisely - standard will fit most people with room for expansion, but I am very happy to either make one specially to fit, or adjust one I've got ready made to the right size; regardless of if you order small, standard or large ;-)
However, as most people wear rings at the palm, and the hooker ring between the first and second joint, the size of your 'regular' rings is most likely going to be too large.
So, if you know the size of the finger at the area you will be wearing it (eg for me it's between the first and second joint of my middle finger, which is a J, where as my wedding ring is an R) let me know and I'll make and set it to that size for you.
If you are unsure how to gauge the size, then to calculate that size, take a piece of paper, and tape it in a circle to your finger where you plan to wear the tension guide.
Remove it, cut it and then you can measure the length (in millimetres) which will give you the circumference of your finger at that point. I can then identify the ring size and set your hooker ring appropriately - usually I set it about 1/2 or a whole size smaller to allow you to do the final adjustment once you have the hang of it.
