  • This listing is for an individually, handcrafted, solid sterling silver, fully adjustable #HookerRing to reduce cramp and aid with evening tension from the yarn ball to the work with a coordinating stamped, sterling stitch keeper, slightly discounted for the pair.

See my other listings for a ring or a stitch keeper only.

***During March 2025 I'll donate 20% of each online sale of any of my hooker rings to Alzheimer’s research as part of the #KnitEveryDayInMarch challenge intended to raise funds and awareness.

    I'll match the total raised***

Each will be slightly different, as I make them individually. You can adjust the sizing by pinching the tops together, or squeezing them apart or of course, you can tell me the size you want yours to be, and I'll adjust it for you before I dispatch it (you'll still be able to tweak it)

I've had feedback saying it would be helpful to order them in different sizings, so

Standard = adjustable from UK D to Q, set at about UK G (USA 3.75)

Small = adjustable up to to a K, set at about UK D (USA 2)

Large = Adjustable up to Z+1, set at about UK R (USA 8.75)

If you don't specify the size, I'll enclose a standard, and if you need to either have it adjusted, or exchange for a different size, then just message me and we'll arrange it.

You can see videos of them in use on my Instagram and Facebook pages, and also at LilyPondYarns (now https://www.kosykitchenfibres.com/ ) pages. (buy the gorgeous fine natural wool shown in my photo from them here https://www.kosykitchenfibres.com/)

I've found that wearing it on my middle finger, saves me having to tangle my little finger and stops the cramp I was getting with my crochet.

Since I created this listing I've sold lots of these, and people have been kind enough to share photos of them in use - you can see their photos if you type #HookerRing into Instagram. I'm trying to collate them all into the highlights on my profile. I'd love if you would share a photo of your #HookerRing in action too!

It's really interesting how people wear them differently- on their leading hand, or not and turned in or out  (see this for yourself, and add your own #HookerRing selfie over on Instagram)

Multiple loop option available in another listing.

Single loop, has a variety of basic stamping options - bee, butterfly, falling leaves, angel wings, hearts, flowers, dots, pawprints, snowflakes or stars shown in mini montages on this listing and my other listing

    • Everything is made using sterling silver. Many pieces are unique and one of a kind items, some are ranges.

Bullion (ie raw precious metal) is expensive and increases in price regularly.

I've decided that rather than increase the price of all my old stock to reflect this, I will just update the new pieces to reflect the cost of the metal when I bought it. This is why you will find some spinner rings, for example at different price points.

    •  The sterling I use is supplied by a UK manufacturer as fully recycled with a minimum fineness of 92.5% silver; the remaining element of the alloy being copper.

      Copper items are 100% copper

Within my making process I use food grade citric acid, vegan polishes, Liver of Sulphur, food grade Sodium Bicarbonate, Renaissance Wax finally cleaning each item with tap water and ‘Simple’ branded face soap.

Each piece I make will stand up to regular wear, but, as with all jewellery, please keep it away from children, don’t eat it, remove it before washing, using chemicals, applying perfume etc.

Apply body lotion and perfume a few minutes before putting on your jewellery to help slow down tarnish.

The gemstones I use have been sold to me by reputable UK dealers as untreated (unless stated specifically in the listing). They are a natural, organic creation from the earth and each one will be slightly different.

It's law in the UK, that precious metals for sale, heavier than 7.78grams (silver) / 1gram (gold) must be formally assayed (ie tested, verified & hallmarked)
