  • I recently started to make spinner rings - when I upgraded my blowtorch :-)

This listing is for a single ring, size N in either option a or b

I make small batches, as the mood takes me; The very small ones will be just under the the required weight to send for hallmarking (7.78g) but I tend to send them off with a batch anyway, just so you have that added security of knowing it's all sterling silver.

These rings all vary in weight slightly: an M comes in at about 7grams with the Z+2 weighs 10.3 grams

Most have a width of approximately 10mm, and a flare of 2.5-3mm

Almost all the silver I use is certified eco silver - recycled and reclaimed by my bullion dealer, or made using my own scrap. In thie case of a spinner ring, all the elements expect for the beaded wire used for the bands, or the floral wire forming the outer ring is certified eco silver.

I make the main band, texturing before forming it, if rolling it through my mill or stamping. I apply the beaten texture described as 'ribbed' after forming the band. I then make the satellite rings, ensuring that their fit, like Goldilocks, is just right.

Because these bands are a little wider than usual, most people need to go up a half size or two when selecting one to wear, for ultimate comfort. If you wish to try one and need to return it because it doesn't fit, then I'll happily accept a return, as long as it's within a fortnight. Please see my return policy regarding this.

If you would like a ring sizer, you can order one in my other listings, at cost.

I'll refund you if you then place an order for a ring from me

    • Sterling Silver will eventually oxidise or tarnish. It's a natural process that can be slowed down by regular wear and by keeping unworn items away from the atmosphere. If you leave your jewellery out on display, this oxidisation will be faster.  You can polish up your items, with a soft cloth, some silver polish, or a buffing cloth such as Town Talk, which is readily available from any high street jewellers in the UK

Fine silver is 99.9% silver, and because of this the tarnish rate is much, much slower. Again, a buff should do the job for polishing it back up. If I have patinated your silver already, be gentle when buffing!

Each piece should stand up to regular wear, but , as with all jewellery, please remove it before washing, using chemicals or applying perfume etc

Apply body lotion and perfume a few minutes before putting on your jewellery to help slow down tarnish

The sterling silver used in these items was sold to me by my bullion dealer ass certified recycled.

he gemstones I use have been sold to me by reputable dealers as untreated (unless stated specifically in the listing). They are a natural, organic creation from the earth and each one will be slightly different. You can see examples of this on my Facebook page.
I select the stones that I think go together best for each project, hence my comments that each item is individual.
