Three bands of 2mm thick, round, recycled sterling silver, textured with a hammer and interlocked.
Each band of these can be textured differently, to enable lots of extra sparkle and interest when you wear them – one has ‘bark’ texture, one a classic beaten 'Gilly-Glimmer' and the third smooth or subtle flats. Finally there's the option to have a beaded band which incurs a slight surcharge
Depending on the size your ring may require sending to Edinburgh for Assay and to have a full UK hallmark applied.
See my other listing for rings I have ready to post
When I'm making these to order, there's a lead in of up to 2 weeks to make it and up to 12 for hallmarking if the weight of the band is 7.78g or over, or if you'd like a hallmark applied (depending on how close I am to sending my shinies for Assay)
I can make you one in your chosen size and texture combination - select your options or message me and I’ll let you know current timescales; most likely it will be within a fortnight unless it needs to go for Assay
Recommended you choose use Next Day Guaranteed Royal Mail for postage within the UK
You can see me wearing two together in these photos; you are purchasing one ring only
All the silver I use is certified eco silver - recycled and reclaimed by my bullion dealer, or made using my own scrap
Because these bands are a little wider than usual, most people need to go up a half size when selecting one to wear, for ultimate comfort. If you wish to try one and need to return it because it doesn't fit, then I'll happily accept a return, as long as it's within a fortnight. Please see my return policy regarding this.
If you would like a ring sizer, you can order one in my other listings, at cost.
I'll refund you if you then place an order for a ring from me
Triple interlocked sterling band, Russian style
Sterling Silver will eventually oxidise or tarnish. It's a natural process that can be slowed down by regular wear and by keeping unworn items away from the atmosphere. If you leave your jewellery out on display, this oxidisation will be faster. You can polish up your items, with a soft cloth, some silver polish, or a buffing cloth such as Town Talk, which is readily available from any high street jewellers in the UK
Fine silver is 99.9% silver, and because of this the tarnish rate is much, much slower. Again, a buff should do the job for polishing it back up. If I have patinated your silver already, be gentle when buffing!
Each piece should stand up to regular wear, but , as with all jewellery, please remove it before washing, using chemicals or applying perfume etc
Apply body lotion and perfume a few minutes before putting on your jewellery to help slow down tarnish
The sterling silver used in these items was sold to me by my bullion dealer ass certified recycled.
he gemstones I use have been sold to me by reputable dealers as untreated (unless stated specifically in the listing). They are a natural, organic creation from the earth and each one will be slightly different. You can see examples of this on my Facebook page.
I select the stones that I think go together best for each project, hence my comments that each item is individual.
